I dunno, the badnicks are painted, which might make them a bit more plasicy. And colour can not have a chrome effect as much.

those spikes are amazing!!
I love your art, we're lucky to have an awesome artist like you on this project.
The badnicks, yeah, should look a bit more plastic, but have a metal effect too in some places, like the motobug exhaust tube.

Well, cars for example are also painted and they don't look like plastic to me, but like metal. I think Badniks and the Eggmobile would look similar.

I was going to have the paint glossy and the metal chrome, depending on where they are (if he was in chemical plant zone, some stains or erosion would be cool, but I cant think of a Sonic 1 example).

Well, overall it's pretty well donde, but I think there is something wrong, maybe the head a little bigger or something. Also, a missing bolt in the arm, but nothing important.

At first I tried doing something in Adobe Illustrator, as people of Sonic 2 HD were using it, but I realised that I was wasting my time as I don't know much how to use it.
So I switched to Photoshop expecting another failure, but I think that it hasn't turned so bad at all.
I did at 4x, but it can be resized
